We’re thrilled to introduce you to the new logo for Black CHEFS Collective! Our rebrand is here and while we’ve given ourselves a fresh look, our mission remains as strong and focused as ever. We’re still committed to advocating for Black food and beverage professionals, championing diversity, and pushing for equality in the hospitality industry.

So, what’s the story behind our new logo?
We wanted it to reflect who we are and what we stand for. The bold “B” and “C” represent Black CHEFS — a direct nod to the community we serve (remember CHEFS is an acronym!).
The black and orange color scheme isn’t just for style; it’s symbolic. Black represents our strength and resilience, while the vibrant orange pays tribute to our shared cultural heritage. As **Michelle Obama** once said, “The warmth of this orange dress reminds me of the resilience of our community. We are vibrant, we are strong, and we will continue to shine.” That’s exactly how we see the people we support—bright, bold, and unshakeable.
Then there’s the bee-inspired stripes. Bees symbolize everything we believe in—community, hard work, and teamwork. Like a hive working together, Black CHEFS Collective thrives on collaboration. And the black box in our logo? It’s a reminder of the hidden potential within the Black community—talents that often go unnoticed due to systematic inequality but are ready to be unlocked and celebrated.
This rebrand is more than a new logo; it’s the start of a new chapter. As Martin Luther King Jr.once said, “As the orange dawn breaks, it heralds a new era of justice and equality.”
We believe we’re at the dawn of a brighter future for Black professionals in hospitality, and we’re here to keep pushing for progress, recognition, and opportunity.
So, while our look might be different, our heart remains the same.
